Amazing weekend

I can’t believe how much we accomplished over the three days.  We basically put the boat back together AND got her ready to race.  Bottom, saildrive and zincs all sorted down below.  Winches, lifelines running rigging topside, instruments (Zeus and Tacktick), some electrical and batteries on the inside.  Even installed the new AIS VHF.  And can’t forget the mast — all put back together and ready for stepping tomorrow, with a big thanks to Deb and Abby.  Honestly a huge thanks to everyone.  I’m completely amazed — Spirit is in great shape and I’m very grateful for all of the help.  : ).  On the downside, I am going to scrub the race tomorrow.  Given the potential for things to go south on what will be our very first sail of the year, I don’t think the weather supports it.  Three awesome days in a row was all we could ask for!!!  Lots of rain, cold temps and a gusty breeze make tomorrow evening worth skipping.  However, we will definitely sneak in a practice or two later in the week and for sure hit it next Tuesday.  Thanks for your patience and understanding!  <3
