Spring . . . Getting There.

So over the last few days we’ve had a little more clarity regarding the schedule over the next month.  Sorry for the spam regarding a practice sail tomorrow — that was the original plan of course.  Now that JYC has cancelled the Spring series, we can move pre-events to align with the Summer series.  Accordingly, JYC practice #1 is now June 2nd and JYC practice #2 is June 9th.  The first JYC race of the year will be Summer series #1, June 16th.  You may also have noted the first Twenty Hundred Club race is June 7th.  This is the new Bridge Fiasco race and looks firm.  Leukemia Cup is postponed.  NYYC Annual is postponed.  Then on June 20th is the Twenty Hundred Club Around Aquidneck.  This race will also likely occur as planned — just without the party at TYC.  June will be busy as it currently stands.

We’ve had a couple of useful sails so far and we’ll continue that as weather permits.  The boat systems are all restored and the rig seems to be at a good starting setting.  We need to do some instrument cals.  We even have a functioning autopilot again!

So, two asks here:  1) Crew Manager has been updated; please review your availability for the early season events, especially the two rescheduled practices and make any required changes, and 2) please look to join the boat for a sail sometime over the month of May to shake out the cobwebs before June.  : )  Oh yea, there are cobwebs!  Thanks!  EC
